Transrational

By Victor M Fontane

Humans are always moving in their daily experiences between what they think is rational and irrational. Rational is defined as a set of reasons or a logical basis for a course of action or a particular belief. Also, an explanation of controlling principles of opinion, belief, practice, or phenomena.

On the other hand, irrational is defined as not logical or reasonable, lacking usual or normal mental clarity or coherence, not endowed with reason or understanding.

However, these definitions are framed in what ancient spiritual traditions call, construct of the mind, based on rules and concepts created by humans themselves without having any relation to the principles of the nature of the Universe. We can say then that rational and irrational, how we described the nature of all experiences, are in the domain of the human mind.

Ancient teaching always propose that beyond the physical human mind, human experiences and human construct there is a superior energy, force or consciousness of which we are part, that manifest, sustain and maintain his creation that can be called trans-rational and defined as going beyond or surpassing human reason or the rational, transcending or reaching beyond the personal or individual, it is a way of seeing the world, perceiving reality, and making decisions, awareness and can be also called enlightenment.
