The Way We Think About the World

Technology has caused that in our day to day, our lives go by very fast and in a compressed way.  Everything is accessible 24/7, nothing seems to stand still. With this in mind, it is important to find the precise time to disconnect, to pause, to decompress and reflect on the world around us.


Here are 30 questions that might help us change the way we think about the world.


1. How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

 2. What is worse?  Fail or never have tried?

 3. When all is said and done, have you usually said more than you have?

 4. What would you like to change the most in the world?

 5. Are you doing the things you believe in?  Or do you just settle for what you are doing?

 6. To what extent do you really control the course your life has taken?

 7. Are you preoccupied with doing things correctly?  Or in doing the right things?

 8. If you could give a child only one piece of advice, what would you give him?

 9. Would you break the Law to save someone you love?

 10. Have you ever seen madness where you have seen creativity later?

 11. Do you know of anything that sets you apart from most people?

 12. How is it possible that the things that make you happy don't make everyone happy?

 13. What is it that you have not done yet and you really want to do?  What's stopping you?

 14. Do you press the elevator button more than once?  Do you really think it will get you there sooner?

 15. Why are you who you are?

 16. Are you the kind of friend you want to have as a friend?

 17. What would you prefer?  Lose all your memory?  Or being unable to have new memories?

 18. Is it possible to know the truth without challenging it first?

 19. Has your greatest fear ever come true?

 20. At what point in your recent past have you felt most alive and passionate?

 21. If not now, then when?

 22. If you haven't already succeeded, what do you have to lose?

 23. Have you ever been with someone, without saying a word, and left feeling that you had the best of conversations?

 24. When was the last time you plunged into darkness with the only light from an idea that you firmly believed in?

 25. If you knew that everyone you know was going to pass away tomorrow, who would you go to see today?

 26. Would you be willing to reduce your life by 10 years in exchange for being extremely famous or attractive?

 27. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?

 28. What would you do differently if you knew that no one was going to judge you?

 29. When was the last time you felt the sound of your own breathing?

 30. Decisions are being made right now.  The question is: are you taking them, or are you letting others take them for you?
