The development of intuition is one of the most important aspects in the process of spiritual evolution. In our heart lives what we should call "the pilgrim" that is the seed that has traveled through multiple universes, galaxies, solar systems, planets and continents accumulating information and experiences.
The best way to represent it is the Japamala or rosary of beads to count mantrams repetitions. Each count is a life, an incarnation, entwined in the thread of the mental continuum. To access this information we have to learn to stop the lower mind or ego. Our higher mind is the one that operates in the state that we call the dream without dream, one of the stages of our consciousness. It is said that if we can remember what is experienced in that state, we can see the chain of our past incarnations or rebirths so that this accumulation of experiences can be used positively.
In the Teachings of Agni Yoga this is called the Chalice and in the treatises of Maitreya the Alaya Vijñana. People who develop contact with that mind manifest an incredible genius and those who merge their lower mind with that Higher Mind is as if they were gods.
Let's start with simple exercises. Instead of turning on our smart phone to see the time or watch the clock, try to see it in your mind. When you are waiting for someone to arrive, try to see in your mental screen how she will be dressed. DO NOT question what you feel or what you see. There will come a time when the bridge that unites these two minds will be surprised by the divine capacities that we possess. These two minds are symbolized by the Sign of Gemini.
