When we are climbing a stair the necessary motion is placing one foot in the next step ant let go of the step behind to advance and then keep going on and on until we reach the top, otherwise we will be stuck in the same place. Likewise, in the spiritual path to achieve enlightenment or the highest human potential, we have to let go of the attachment to the material world so the I am, our consciousness or the real “I” can be free, otherwise we will be stuck in the wheel of Samsara or the wheel of born and rebirth forever.
