The seven stages of the spiritual journey.
Ignorance.
Unexpressed ignorance that hides the reality from us, when you can’t experience that true reality. You can’t experience and understand something that you don’t know. It’s like saying you don’t like some food that you haven’t try yet.
Complaining about the troubles of life (Samsara).
A wise person comes and says: don’t suffer, here is the true reality.
For the first time you experience the true reality (direct knowledge).
Then sorrow goes away, there is joy.
All sorrow of life (samsara) is transcended.
