Perception vs Expression

By Victor M Fontane

There are two types of people: some people are interested in talking, some people are interested in listening. But which is wiser? It is the perception that enhances your life and makes your life profound, not the expression. Everyone is busy expressing their limitations, their prejudices and opinions and when you die everything you have said, done and expressed is meaningless. In these modern times and with all the technology available, people, especially young people, are constantly immersed in social networks expressing their opinions, beliefs, etc. without first perceiving, learning, analyzing, reflecting, verifying and above all, having an idea of the impact on others, material, psychological and spiritual. It's an incessant outside conversation and interaction that doesn't allows them to know and learn the most intimate places of themselves.

The Dalai Lama once said that he who talks a lot only repeats what he is told, he who listens learns.

There is no need to be afraid of finding expression because if you go profound with your perception, your expression happens spontaneously.
