Karma Yoga

By Victor M Fontane

Karma is a Sanskrit word that means action and in the ancients spiritual traditions represent the consequences of our own actions in one life or past lives. However, Lord Buddha taught his disciples that karma is created by three “doors”, mind or thoughts, speech and bodily actions meaning that what we think, say or do creates karma, positive or negative. Thus, virtuous and positive actions creates positive karma and non-virtuous actions creates negative karma.

So, everything you think, say or do in your daily life, at home, at work, in entertainment activities creates just regular karma but these done just thinking on God, dedicated to God and in the name of God becomes karma yoga.
