This device is everything, of course it is a cell phone but it is also a photo and video camera, a television, a GPS, a game console, an internet browser, a flashlight, an alarm clock, a calculator, a stereo, etc. But that's not all, stays with us all the time and everywhere offering the promise of an unlimited flow of content capable of filling the void of every moment of our lives. However, in this age of hyper-communication, studies show that the number of people feeling lonely has never been higher than it is now. There is no worse loneliness than loneliness surrounded by people. Unfortunately, it's going to get worse as its applications are going to spread much more.
Thus, it shows more eloquently that freedom has never existed in our human race and the little freedom we have had is becoming extinct at an accelerated rate. In this technological age it is our deepest attachment.
However, the problem is not in the apparatus but in our mind. The solution is switching from being slave of our mind to be Master of our mind. The first step is always educating our children.
