The human body and all the elements of nature are made up of millions of intelligent particles and living beings. Thus, the total conglomerate can be compared to a humanity in each person, and like all cosmic particles, they are subject to universal laws and universal karma. That's why when someone destroys a human body with it, destroy all its intelligent particles and get trapped in the karmic results that this generates.
