Divine Grace

By Victor M Fontane

Divine grace is a theological term present in many religions. It has been defined as the divine influence which operates in humans to regenerate and sanctify, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to impart strength to endure trial and resist temptation; and as an individual virtue or excellence of divine origin. “Through the kindness or help of God: By the grace of God, the pilot managed to land the damaged plane safely. By the grace of God, she escaped without injury”.

However, this divine grace is very selective as don’t apply to all the creation and everyone, in fact this “God” rewards everyone who follows his rules and worship him but punish those who don’t. Reality is that when you observe human interaction, virtue in human experiences is almost absent. On the other hand, the law of cause and effect or karma is what really regulates all human experiences.

Thus, in reality there is no divine grace but the act of positive and negative karma acting upon humans with the sole purpose of evolution.
