Difference Between Christian’s Being Forgiven from Sins and Karma

By Victor M Fontane

Christianity.

The Bible's primary emphasis on forgiveness is not on our forgiving one another, but is rather on our being forgiven. God simply says: “Treat each other as I have treated you.” God loves the world, and He wants us to love His children as we love ourselves. Also, the Bible say: God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace Alone. Faith Alone. Grace alone means that God loves, forgives, and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ. In other words you can misbehave in many ways but God will forgive you anyway, no consequences which is unfair and not in accordance with the love of God to all of his creation.

Concept of karma in Buddhist, Hindu and other eastern religions.

Karma is a Sanskrit word the means just action but is associated with consequences. Which means and according to the laws of physics, all is energy in the universe and all action creates a reaction or consequence. Thus, anything we think, we say or do creates a consequence or karma that we face one way or another in the future. Also, the more karma accumulated (karmic seeds) we have, the harder to achieve enlightenment and our highest human potential, happiness and end of suffering. It is a personal work that no one can do for us.
