Corruption

By Jose N Garcia, Vedic Astrology

In the Shrimad Bhagavatam, Vidura, the Prime Minister of the court of the city of Hastinapura when the Kauravas reigned, said these words as advice to the blind king Dhritarashtra so that he could decide correctly in the face of the corrupt and immoral way in which his sons were acting:

“The sages say that one should forget oneself for the sake of the family, the family for the welfare of the city, the city for the welfare of the community and the Earth itself should be abandoned for the welfare of the soul.”

This was said during the Dvapara Yuga when Shri Krishna was alive and when there were still elements of decency and righteousness in society and politics.

Let us observe, just observe if any of the current politicians and leaders of the world are capable of following that advice.

LET US WATCH AND DECIDE!
